On a sad note, it is with great regret that I have to inform you of the death of Len Pounder, a fellow member of the Roadhouse.
Len was tragically killed in the early hours of Sunday 18th March when he was struck by a car whilst cycling from Dorridge Station to his home in Balsall Common. He leaves behind a son, Matthew, and daughter Rebecca.
Len was well known in the music community and was a great friend to many people. Dizzy Lizzy will be participating in a benefit gig to raise funds to help his family. The gig will take place on Sunday May 6th at the Roadhouse with entry being £5.00

You may have seen the article on Dizzy Lizzy in this month's Classic Rock. There are a few points in this where I feel that I have been misquoted The interview took place last year and I got very familiar with the interviewer and I blabbed away. I can see in his efforts to edit misquotes have arisen.
Q.
Have any members of Thin Lizzy seen you play or heard of you?On recollection, some members of Thin Lizzy have seen us, but more importantly, just to clarify a quote that Philomena had said nice things about us. But I also said that she favours anybody doing her son's music, because ultimately, she was very proud of her son.
Q.
If you were given the chance to join Thin Lizzy, would you?Anybody that knows me would be surprised at the answer to this question. When asked, I said "'Obviously' as it would be an honour to be asked to do something of that magnitude". I then tried to explain that you couldn't have a Phil Lynott character in a band and call it Thin Lizzy, as everyone knows Phil was Thin Lizzy. It's none of my business what Scott Gorham does with his band
(I saw Scott Gorham's Thin Lizzy recently on tour and personally, they totally blew me away. I would recommend them to any Thin Lizzy fan! )
Thanks H
I would also like to apologise for the terminology 'up my crack', all I meant was that it was a great idea, and 'up my crack' is not normally what I would use for a press statement.
